5th Annual Texas Farm and Food Leadership Conference
If you care about any of these subjects–eating local foods, preserving independent agriculture, family farms, eating healthy foods, learning about developments in agriculture and food policy, genetically modified foods (GMOs), food safety, access to raw milk–you should attend the 5th Annual Farm and Food Leadership Conference in San Antonio, September 12-13. Join with other Texans who really care about what they eat. The conference is less than two weeks away, so register now!
Topics include: Corporate Control of Our Food Supply, Genetically Modified Foods, Food Safety and Local Foods, Raw Milk, Animal ID, Food Justice, Water in Texas, and Effective Activism.
The first Texas showing of the film Farmageddon is on Monday night of the two-day conference.
My husband and I attended the 4th annual conference last year in Austin and were really impressed with the speakers’ knowledge of their subjects and the attendees’ enthusiasm for food rights. The conference is sponsored by the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance.
