How does wearing a mask affect our babies and children?
Update July 25, 2022: New study finds masks become disgusting bacteria traps as mandates continue. Bacteria and fungi were found on both sides of the masks.
Update September 17, 2021: “A child’s O2 saturation should be above 95% at all times. . .” Wearing a mask can reduce O2 to harmful levels. Do Face Masks Pose Serious Risks To Children & to the Healthy?
Update July 20, 2021: Child abuse takes many forms. We are in a new phase and most children around the world are being abused. Watch this film, if you can. Children of the Reset.
Update July 6, 2021: Experimental Assessment of Carbon Dioxide Content in Inhaled Air With or Without Face Masks in Healthy Children, a German study found that wearing masks raised levels of carbon dioxide above safe levels and was worse in younger children. The study concluded that “children should not be forced to wear face masks.”
Update January 3, 2021: Mask Harms in Kids: 68% of Parents Report Alarming Psychological and Physical Problems In First-of-its-kind Study, “A German study involving over 25,000 children reveals that major negative impacts on the physical, psychological, and behavioral health of children may be far more widespread than reported in the media and by government officials — affecting approximately 68% and contributing to 24 distinct health complaints, according to parent submitted observations.”
Update October 8, 2020: “Dr. Margarite Griesz-Brisson MD, PhD, is a Consultant Neurologist and Neurophysiologist with a PhD in Pharmacology, with special interest in neurotoxicology, environmental medicine, neuroregeneration and neuroplasticity. This is what she has to say about masks and their effects on our brains:” [The excerpt below is about the effects of wearing masks on children and adolescents, but read the complete article to learn of harms to adults, including the neurodegenerative effects of chronic oxygen deprivation.] (source)
For children and adolescents, masks are an absolute no-no. Children and adolescents have an extremely active and adaptive immune system and they need a constant interaction with the microbiome of the Earth. Their brain is also incredibly active, as it is has so much to learn. The child’s brain, or the youth’s brain is thirsting for oxygen. The more metabolically active the organ is, the more oxygen it requires. In children and adolescents every organ is metabolically active. [emphasis is in the original article]
To deprive a child’s or an adolescent’s brain from oxygen, or to restrict it in any way, is not only dangerous to their health, it is absolutely criminal. Oxygen deficiency inhibits the development of the brain, and the damage that has taken place as a result CANNOT be reversed. [emphasis added]
The child needs the brain to learn, and the brain needs oxygen to function. We don’t need a clinical study for that. This is simple, indisputable physiology. Conscious and purposely induced oxygen deficiency is an absolutely deliberate health hazard, and an absolute medical contraindication.

The mandates to wear masks and social distance can have damaging effects that I believe too many people are ignoring.
An incident I witnessed recently made me consider how significant is the effect on our youngest children and babies.
About a week ago, while visiting a local health food store, I saw two women talking in front of the store. One woman was holding a toddler. Both were cooing and saying “Oh, how cute she is in her mask.” One woman was taking photos of the baby wearing her “cute” mask.
Young children are simply not able to understand the reasons we are wearing masks, even if they were necessary. For more information about the effects on adults and children of wearing masks, read here).
I have listened to child psychiatrists and psychologists talking about the risks to children from wearing masks and from seeing adults (and other children) around them wearing masks. However, listening to a discussion does not have as powerful an impact as watching the effect on a baby in a similar situation. To understand, watch this video of a Harvard experiment by Dr. Edward Tronick called the Still Face Experiment.
Wearing a mask is very much like refusing to respond with facial expression. Even if you are responding, the baby cannot see it. I have trouble recognizing people that I know well when they are wearing masks. People wearing masks look different. They sound different.
Take a look at the photo at the top of this post with several people wearing masks. How can you know what they are feeling?
